New Chords:
G major | D major
Warm-Up First
Before practicing your new CHORDS... be sure to warm-up your fingers with these two (2) little exercises. These are very important - as we are training your fingers work independently.

G major

D major

Play-Along Practice
Chord Changes
G major-to-D major
To play an actual song, we need to put some chords together. This is what's known as "Chord Changes" -- the ability to change from one chord to another.
This is the starting point. We are going from G major to D major. Back and forth. It will be a struggle at first because your fingers are not fully acquainted with these chords, yet.
But, with practice and reps... they will soon easily find these chords. You'll be able to find them blindfolded!!
Go slow. Accuracy is way more important than speed.

Chord Progression
G major-to-D major-to-E minor-to-C major
A chord progression is a series of chords usually in a certain key. In this case, we are learning the chords to the Beatles hit song, "Let It Be."
This song is in the key of G major and uses a common chord progression.
Please play along if you can. Remember to go slow. Accuracy is way more important than speed.

4-Chord Challenge!
Advanced - Strum and Speed
G, D, E-, C
This is the exact same chord progression EXCEPT, we are only playing EACH CHORD for TWO (2) STRUMS.
Plus, this is much faster than the previous "play-along" videos. And, I've introduced a clicking METRONOME to ensure our timing is consistent with the beat.
So, if you think you've mastered the chord progression and want to challenge yourself to play faster -- then this challenge will put your skills to the test!
NOTE: It's O.K. if your playing is sloppy - at first. However, the goal is to "clean it up" by practicing (reps) as much as you can. Good luck!
